Law school dropout turned vicious career criminal info broker, Vita is spiteful, vindictive, and infuriatingly smug. On the outside, at least. Really, it’s incredibly predictable that the thirteenth prince of Aloysius Caturnon would have an inferiority complex, isn’t it? In spite of their three red eyes, Vita’s abilities as a conduit are a pittance compared to the faith healer. However, they think themselves savvy enough to go up against him – whether or not that’s enough is a different matter.

Ambitious and opinionated, Vita bows to no one unless forced to the ground – a natural leader who always keeps its eye on the goal. It’s borderline misanthropic in tone, yet a paradoxically idealistic dream peeks out from somewhere beneath. Intent on making it their own way, Vita dropped out of law school against its father’s wishes – it was meant to defend his interests, of course – and started its own enterprise extorting politicians and businessmen. Vita rejects spiritual enlightenment and tends to think its father’s followers are revoltingly stupid. Still, it knows deep down there’s more to it that and wants to liberate them or something… Then, they can use Aloysius's infrastructure to start a sustainable development venture!

Though certainly not devoid of morals, Vita was raised in a cutthroat environment within the faith healer’s compound in Lacrimosa. We’ll just say it adapted. Since they were not talented as a fighter, they focused on intellectual pursuits and excelled in analysis. Naturally, she’s self conscious about her physical and magical weakness, but she’ll always try to spin it somehow. She’s naturally suspicious of others and leaves no stone unturned; however, she sometimes underestimates those who strike her as particularly unserious. A bit hypocritical, considering how strongly she reacts when others make such a mistake about her.

Vita creates plants that she can see and hear through with some sort of split-screen brain setup. These plants are not significantly more durable than regular plants, but the connection will remain even if they’re pulled up. Only if the red eye within is destroyed does it sever Vita’s connection. Generation of various types of small plants is possible as long as they know enough about the structure of the plan in question. They use the majority of their labyrinth space to maintain a small greenhouse. Vita is quite knowledgeable about where different plants thrive best and which ones have medicinal or other uses. A such, they may serve as a makeshift medic (horrible bedside manner, though).

Ivrel and Vita’s history is long and sordid but holds very genuine feelings. Despite essentially serving as Vita’s henchman, Ivrel did not share their lofty goals or complex ideologies. Vita rather despised her worst habits but tolerated them enough. By the time they reunited, Ivrel had changed in an unexpected way. Their frequent arguments are laced with familiarity, sexual tension and lingering regrets. Vita aggressivelly rebukes Ivrel's suicidal ideation. Unfortunately, neither of them are in touch with their feelings, to put it lightly. They can't help but be jealous of Ivrel and Tjong's relationship.

Honestly, it genuinely shocks Vita how little common sense those two spoiled sorcerers – Odd and Zee – have. It’s honestly astounding that the two of them managed to survive so long without it. In spite of their nonsense, it must admit that their skills are invaluable. It thinks Odd a minion. He absolutely would not agree (it’s true that he often needs to be wrestled into submission). Zee goes along with anything, but Vita knows she’s not under its thumb. There’s a provocative undertone in her voice when she calls it bestieee...

Vita reviles her father, the faith healer Aloysius Caturnon. She considers him to be the worst type of man and thinks it’s her moral duty to vanquish him, or something like that. Aloysius, meanwhile, imagines her as a perpetually petulant child. He’d told himself before that if Vita came back, he’d forgive her – she was more valuable than most of his sons. However, the further she gets out of line, the harder it gets to forgive her. Vita would loathe to acknowledge it, but she’s the prince most like Aloysius himself in personality. Shame they have opposing ideologies, he thinks (he’s sure he’ll win).

Similarly, Vita holds strong disdain for their elder brother, Dorian. The two are close in age and spent a lot of time together as children, but they are stark opposites. They grew resentful of him when his cowardice became unacceptable while working for daddy – if they manage to nab him, they’ll make him regret it. Dorian meanwhile, says that Vita has no fucking idea what ‘working for daddy’ is like.., But make no mistake, he knows they can and will ruin his fucking life. Currently, both of them consider the other a threat, but neither of them are going fully for the jugular.

Vita and Renny only tolerate each other because of Ivrel.
